First off….
I have such a wonderful surprise for you guys!
Tomorrow Sarah from Adventures of Our Fami-Ly and I will be trading blogs for the day.
She has a fantastic guest post ready for you guys. You’re really going to love her! Then you can hop on over to Adventures of Our Fami-Ly and see the project I’m sharing over there…it’s a good one!
Here’s a little preview:
Yep, I’m at it again! I just love this fabric!
Now I have the whole set!

The Oven Mitt Tutorial
The Kitchen Stand Tutorial
This was super simple. I took 2 pieces of fabric and cut them just a tad bigger than my old pot holder. I also decided that I wanted to add a little border for embellishment so I cut 2 strips from the kitchen towel I used for the Oven Mitt. I then pinned the fabric (nice sides facing inside) and the towel strips folded in half facing inside. I sewed them up- leaving a 2 inch opening so I could flip it right side out. Then I just stuffed the old pot holder inside and finished sewing it shut. Finally I added a little piece of fabric to make a loop so I can hang it up.
Sorry there’s no tutorial pics…. I got so wrapped up in making these that I forgot to take pics.
