At first glance The Wizarding World at Epic Universe seems like it was passed over by Universal. Other than the fact that Universal Orlando Resorts spent over $1 Billion dollars on the ride alone…I’m sure there wasn’t a lot of budget left over.
The entire land only boasts one ride and one show, so you would think it would be a quick visit and you’re done. But we actually spent several hours in this area.
While the major attractions steal the spotlight…and for a billion dollars it rightfully should, it’s the hidden gems… the little-known experiences, surprise character moments, and immersive details that often become the most magical memories of your trip.

Tucked inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: the Ministry of Magic is set in the 1920s Parisian Wizarding World, this new attraction is unlike anything you’ve experienced. The queue line is like being dropped right into one of the films!
Stepping through the Floo and arriving in the 5-story-tall Ministry subway station is unreal. 🤯✨
It doesn’t feel like a queue, it feels like you’ve actually traveled into the wizarding world.

I’ve been through some incredible theme park lines… but this one? It’s on a whole different level.

You can pick up a wand inside her shop (and trust me, they’re gorgeous), or bring your own… just make sure it’s a second-generation Wizarding World wand to unlock the interactive magic hidden throughout the parks. Yes, there are secret spell spots if you know where to look. 👀💫

This isn’t your typical theme park meet-and-greet. It’s intimate, unhurried, and packed with pure wizarding charm.
We stumbled upon it by chance, and it ended up being one of the most memorable moments of our entire visit. My daughter spent over five minutes talking and laughing with the characters just them… casting spells together and exchanging stories like old friends. There was no rushing, no line pushing you along, just a beautifully immersive experience that felt genuinely personal.
