Seeking Sole Mates Sign Laundry Room DIY Decor
Make this laundry room decor with Dollar Store items!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Seeking Sole Mates Sign– it’s cute and functional– perfect for the laundry room! How many times do you go to the dryer and fold all the clothes only to realize that a single sock is missing from a pair you’re trying to match up. These socks get tossed in the never ending missing sock bin that just grows and grows and grows until one day it just explodes and I realize that there’s actually 20 pairs of socks in there….I just haven’t taken the time to match them up! Seriously….I used to have a HUGE basket of socks full of what I thought were singles missing their mates!
Now, with this cute little decorative piece I can hang the lonely sock up and it’s easy to see when I find it’s mate…..well, unless the dryer gremlins take it away for their stash.
Oh yeah, I subscribe to the theory that there’s little gremlins living in our dryer stealing our clothes…sometimes they just shrink them for a good giggle, or steal that perfect blouse that goes with a particular skirt that you want to wear to a specific event, but their favorite task is stealing just a single sock and watch you go nuts looking for the mate….only to hand it to your toddler at a later date to bring back to you… usually a day or two after you’ve given up hope and thrown the sock away…that way you really pull your hair out!
Anyway, making this was a snap!
