Sweet Chili Honey Glazed Pork Chops Recipe
These sweet chili honey glazed pork chops use just 5 ingredients and are ready in 20 minutes for a simple dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 Boneless Butterflied Pork Chops
- 1/2 Cup Honey
- 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/8 Cup Chili Powder
- 1 TBS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium heat.
Mix together light brown sugar and chili powder.
Coat each pork chop in sugar mixture.
Place pork chops in heated skillet, cover, and cook on each side for about 10 minutes.
Depending on the thickness of your pork chops you may need to cook longer-- always check the internal temperature- you always want to make sure pork chops reach 145 degrees at the thickest part.
Once cooked through, remove pork chops from skillet.
Add honey to skillet and mix well with pork drippings.
Once honey begins to bubble, remove from heat.
Add pork chops back into skillet and cover in honey sauce.
Enjoy!
Notes
Don't want the added kick from the chili powder? Just leave it out and make plain honey glazed pork chops...they'll be just as yummy!
